Debating between Walt Disney and a Cruise ?

newyorksponsor asked:

HI,

My fiance and I are planning a trip. I have been to Walt Disney and on a Carnival Cruise and enjoyed both. My fiance has not traveled much. Although we plan to do both eventually. I am not sure which to do first. I know he does not want to dress up in formal attire, which the cruise has serveral nights of those. So, maybe go to walt disney first ?
Which do you guys like the most Disney or Cruise ? or are there any hot spot vacations you been too ?

This one is tough. Has your fiance been to Disney World? If he hasn’t, it may be a great way for you to relax in the wonderful hotels and act like a kid in the parks. Plus, there is Cirque du Soleil and lots of wonderful dining experiences. If he has been, why not look into a Disney Cruise. You could go on a 4 night cruise which will cost about the same amount as a Disney vacation. You stop at Nassua in the Bahamas and Disney’s privet Island, Castaway Cay. There are tons of adult things to do. There is wine and margarita tastings, night clubs, and spas. I am going on my first disney cruise in a month. Everyone says it is amazing. Try these wbsites out to hep you research both. http;//www.allears.net

To be honest, if you’re an adult, a Disney cruise is more of a family thing. I went on there when I was 14, I’m now 19. But there loads of kids everywhere, and they have an adults only beach, that has lots of little kids running around too. So if you’re looking for a little romantic getaway, I wouldn’t recommend Disney Cruise. Royal Caribbean is an AMAZING cruise line. I’m going on a cruise in May, which is the beginning of hurricane season, but there’s never really that many hurricanes in the beginning. I’m visiting Grand Cayman, Mexico, Haiti, and Jamaica. The Freedom of the Seas is phenomenal. But you have to go to Disney at least once. I’ve been a few times and it’s pretty fun. Maybe you could fly down to Orlando and go to Magic Kingdom, then go on a 3 or 4 night cruise!

do the Disney cruise, then you can do like the 3 night cruise and the 4 nights at WDW!! The best of both worlds!

Go to WaltDisneyWorld 1st. He could wear comfy clothing and you both will have tons of fun! Save the cruise for later on in life, when your older with the kids 🙂

If you want to do Walt Disney World and a cruise I would look in to a land and sea cruise. With the land and sea cruise you will be on a Disney cruise ship with all the “Disney magic” and pools, a spa, etc. Then sail to Nassua island in the Bahamas and Disney’s private island castaway cay. and after the cruise you spend a few days in Walt Disney World.

As much as I love Disney World, I would suggest a cruise. My line of choice is Royal Carribean, though I have never been on Carnival. The ability to visit so many different ports over a seven day span is great. All the food that they provide is an amazing benefit as well.

The bigger question though is have either of you been to Disney World before? If you both have and enjoyed your visits, Disney is a great option as well. It can be very romantic, and the food is amazing. There are only a small group of restaurants in Disney that require you to have formal attire.

The one thing a cruise does offer is a wider variety of activities you can do. Each island has so many excursions, you both should find plenty of things to do at each stop.

As for a Disney cruise, I have never been on one personally, but from what I am told it is more geared towards families with children.

i love disney so im biased. everyone has to do disney at least once! my carnival cruise was fun, but i thought the ship time was boring.

    personally i’d chose disney world.
i think he’d have more fun at disney vs a cruise.

have you asked him which he’d rather do?
i’d do what ever he wants this time.

Since its just the 2 of you, I say a cruise. Don’t worry about the formal nights, you don’t have to do those.

Cruises are more romantic and you have the ability to visit a few places, enjoy each other, meet other couples if you’d like.

Yeah, I say cruise. I can’t wait to go on my next cruise.
