Where is the best place to take a cruise to in Sepember 09?

Jessica P asked:

My husband and I would like to take a cruise our 1st cruise once he comes home from deployment, this will be our 1st vacation since everytime we planed one the military would take him from me. We have looked into Cancun Mexico at one time or the Caribbean Islands (but was hearing there is storms there at this time). Any ideas?

Also, any specific cruise lines that are better or worse than others?

Huge Savings On Your Next Cruise

I am personally going on my first cruise which is a Royal Caribbean Cruise for my honeymoon. We are leaving September 28th and coming back on October 4th. We are going to Key West, Cozumel, and Belize City. My fiance has been on a few cruises and he highly recommends Royal Caribbean Cruises. Have fun!! 🙂

We went in September 09, which is the peak of hurricane season. Our stops were supposed to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and Grand Turks but because of the hurricane that damaged over 90% of the island we went to Tortolla instead. Although we would have loved to keep our original itinerary, it was much more comforting to know that we went all the way around the storm. There is plenty to do on all three of the islands, the weather was beautiful and the people on the Islands were so nice.

The crew of the ship keep you well informed on the day to day weather.

A big plus is that the prices during hurricane season a much more reasonable.
    Good Luck

Don’t worry about the storms. Threat of hurricane season is what makes the rates affordable! 😀 The ships have radar and weather forecasting technology and personnel to divert the storms.

My husband and I took our first cruise October 2008 to Grand Cayman and Cozumel; the weather was terrific….hot & humid as heck in Tulum, Mexico!

If you’re young and fun-loving (or just plain fun-loving) a Carnival Cruise is great for a FTC (first-time cruise).

We took our first cruist in the Mediterranean. There are alot of main cruise lines that have very affordable cruises now including RCCL, NCL, Princess, Celebrity, etc.

The weather is warm but it’s more predictable in terms of weather. We had perfect weather on our first cruise so we’re headed back to the Med next week.

There are some great airfares now as well because overall airtravel is down, so shop around and you may find some great deals.
